With its wind-swept shoreline and majestic rock formations rising from the sea, Mexico’s Pacific coastline is a rugged beauty. It’s also a perfect place to rest, relax, and repeat.
From April 13-19, that is exactly what the 100 couples who qualified for First Financial Security, Inc.’s Dream Destination Conference 2018 did at the luxurious Hyatt Ziva Resort in Los Cabos, Mexico. Situated near the tip of the Baja California Peninsula, the all-inclusive Hyatt Ziva is surrounded by natural beauty from desert dunes to the pristine beachfront views of the Sea of Cortez. Our agents enjoyed some of Hyatt Ziva’s best suites featuring spa-like bathrooms with rainfall showers, chic décor, private balconies and cutting-edge electronics.
The Elite Trip winners arrived on Friday and enjoyed the spectacular views, food and amenities during the day. An intimate cocktail reception greeted guests that evening, with qualifiers and headquarters guests enjoying the chance to catch up with old friends and make new ones. The opportunity to connect with a small group of like-minded, successful leaders is part of what makes the Elite Trip incomparable.
Saturday was spent enjoying the sunshine and sightseeing before a private dinner at the award-winning restaurant, Sunset MonaLisa, with the best view of the famous Arch at Land’s End as the backdrop. Sunset MonaLisa has long been an icon in Los Cabos and has been recently classified as “One of the top 5 coolest restaurants in the world” by the Tribune International. The delicious food was matched only by the spectacular atmosphere and was a fitting start to a week of Los Cabos beauty.
As part of this incredible experience, these 100 couples had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of FFS products, strategies, and plans for the future to build their businesses to even higher levels of success. The focus of the FFS Business meeting was on plans to reach $50,000,000 in paid premiums by 2020, which will require a strong commitment from both the headquarters team and FFS field leaders. Phil made the case that we should stretch our vision by a factor of 10! "It's been done before! No company in our market is better situated to repeat history and break the $500,000,000 barrier than FFS. We can do this!"
Training sessions and FFS business meetings were balanced with an opportunity to give back to the Los Cabos community in the form of a LiSA service project. Agents generously gave of their time to assemble collections of school supplies for children in need in the Los Cabos community. It’s impressive to watch the success of FFS agents turn into moments of giving back.
Training sessions and business meetings in the mornings left afternoons free for unique excursions: fishing, off-roading, golfing, horse and camel riding, kissing and petting sea lions and dolphins as well as sightseeing in San Jose del Cabo. Everywhere you turned, agents were enjoying something incredible in Los Cabos – there was truly something for everyone!
We closed out an amazing week with a farewell reception under the stars. Flanked by the FFS logo in brilliant blue and white lights, Esteban serenaded our agents with a private concert. Esteban is no stranger to the top of the Billboard charts and has an impressive record of making musical history with his guitar skills. Our agents loved the music and danced the night away along with exceptional flamenco dancers.
With the end of every Dream Destination Conference, we seem to say that this year was the best yet, and we say it again in 2018. Los Cabos was truly outstanding, but we know that Dream Destination 2019 will be even better. What will you do to make sure you’re with us?
