Dream Destination Conference 2026: Puerto Rico, the Jewel of the Caribbean

Dream Destination Conference 2026 brought First Financial Security qualifiers and their guests to the tropical beauty of Puerto Rico for a celebration of achievement, professional growth, and community.

Held at Four Seasons Resort and Residences at Bahía Beach, DDC26 offered an experience that balanced purposeful business sessions with time to relax, reconnect, and discover the culture of the island. Set within a private nature reserve along two miles of palm-lined beach, the newly reimagined resort provided a remarkable setting for the annual conference.

An Elite Beginning at Bahía Beach

The DDC26 experience began on Friday, May 29, as Elite Trip qualifiers gathered for a cocktail reception on the Paros Terrace. It was an opportunity for top FFS leaders to reconnect, welcome one another to Puerto Rico, and settle into the relaxed surroundings of Bahía Beach.

Saturday’s Elite Trip schedule offered a blend of leisure, hospitality, and local flavor. Qualifiers had time to enjoy the resort’s pools, cabanas, and spa treatments before visiting a special pop-up shop at the Casa Grande Terrace. Later that afternoon, the group traveled off-site for a Casa Bacardí rum-tasting tour, followed by dinner at Marmalade in San Juan. A Sunday brunch at Paros completed the Elite portion of the trip before the Main Trip qualifiers arrived.

The Main Event Arrives

On Sunday, May 31, Elite and Main Trip qualifiers came together for a welcome reception and dinner at the Seabreeze Lawn and Seagrapes Beach. Against the backdrop of Bahía Beach, attendees had the chance to catch up with longtime friends, meet new qualifiers, and begin a week recognizing the work that had brought everyone to Puerto Rico.

The following morning placed business development at the center of the DDC26 program. Attendees gathered in the Convention Center for the FFS Business Meeting and carrier breakout sessions, creating dedicated time for company and industry updates, professional learning, and conversations with carrier partners.

That evening, the conference traded the meeting room for the dance floor. Salsa lessons introduced attendees to one of Puerto Rico’s most recognizable cultural traditions before the evening continued with music and dancing.

Discovering the History and Color of Old San Juan

Tuesday gave attendees an opportunity to experience Puerto Rico beyond the resort during an FFS-planned excursion to Old San Juan.

The journey began with a drive through Isla Verde and Condado before continuing into the historic Old City. Once there, guides led attendees on a 90-minute walking tour through Old San Juan’s colorful streets and past landmarks including La Rogativa, Cristo Chapel, and the San Juan Cathedral.

Along the way, the group encountered restored colonial homes adorned with traditional Spanish ironwork and walked across Old San Juan’s distinctive blue cobblestones, which once served as ballast aboard Spanish ships. The excursion also included a piña colada tasting at Barrachina, a restaurant celebrated for its connection to the origin story of Puerto Rico’s iconic cocktail.

Following the guided tour, attendees had approximately two hours to explore independently. Some could browse local boutiques and galleries, while others could continue sightseeing or simply enjoy the architecture and atmosphere of the historic district before returning to the resort.

The day concluded back at the Four Seasons with karaoke and dancing — a lively complement to a day devoted to history, culture, and exploration.

Business on the Beach

Wednesday began with another round of carrier breakout sessions, continuing the professional-development component of the conference. At noon, the focus shifted to the shoreline for the FFS Beach Day.

Lunch on the beach gave attendees time to unwind and enjoy the resort together, while a sand-building contest added a little friendly competition to the afternoon. The combination captured what makes the Dream Destination Conference distinct: meaningful business conversations accompanied by opportunities to strengthen relationships in an extraordinary destination.

A Colorful Carnival Farewell

DDC26 came to a vibrant conclusion Wednesday evening with a Carnival-themed farewell reception and dinner on the Estate Lawn.

Attendees were encouraged to dress in their boldest and most colorful attire, bringing the energy of a Caribbean celebration to the final gathering of the trip. After days filled with business sessions, island culture, music, and shared experiences, the reception offered one more opportunity to celebrate the qualifiers whose performance had earned them a place in Puerto Rico.

Achievement Becomes an Experience

Dream Destination Conference is designed to celebrate excellence while giving FFS agents opportunities for business training, leadership development, and relationship-building. DDC26 brought those elements together in a uniquely Puerto Rican setting. From professional sessions and carrier conversations to salsa dancing, Old San Juan and a Carnival-inspired farewell, the conference transformed achievement into an experience that qualifiers could share with colleagues, friends, and family.

Puerto Rico offered the ideal setting for that experience: colorful, welcoming, and rich with history. More importantly, the trip demonstrated what can become possible when ambitious goals are supported by consistent effort, strong leadership, and a community committed to growing together.

With DDC26 now part of FFS history, attention turns toward the next extraordinary destination.

Dream Destination Conference 2027 will bring qualifiers to the Fairmont Southampton in Bermuda from April 18–22, 2027. Under the theme Coral Reefs & Crystal Seas, DDC27 will continue the tradition of combining professional growth, recognition, and memorable travel in one of the world’s most beautiful locations.

Puerto Rico showed once again that dreams are worth pursuing — and that the journey to the next Dream Destination begins with the goals set today.
